I have been a regular visitor to this amazing shop for over three years and in my opinion after sampling many ice creams around Australia, Mt Elephant wins hands down. It can be quite difficult to find a decent coffee or hot chocolate in North East Tasmania but Liz at Mt Elephant is able to produce quality drinks every time. The shop also has a good range of nice locally made souviners at reasonable prices which is great for the tourists and locals alike.

What a treat. Choc Fudge just melts in your mouth. The best choc fudge I have tasted since I was a child and my Sunday School teacher used to make homemade fudge for us. Simply delicious. Tops for sure.
